Gourmet Catering - Past events
Over 150 years old, Gerbeaud is one of Europe’s most elegant establishments, and we safeguard our traditions to this day. Nowadays, the Confectionery is just one aspect of our business: day after day we prove ourselves in practically every branch of catering. We offer our guests traditional flavours and bistro cuisine at the Gerbeaud Pub, and superb gourmet dining at the one Michelin star Onyx Restaurant. For special events, we provide elegant service and outstanding cuisine for every style of catering. We have function rooms available to suit any occasion, whether you require sectioned seating for 10 or a buffet reception for 500. For events outside Gerbeaud House, you can count on Gerbeaud Gourmet catering—we would be delighted to bring our services to any location of your choosing.
Over the years we have had the honour of arranging numerous events for PWC (a 200-person gala dinner at the Museum of Fine Arts, a standing reception at Gerbeaud House, a 200-person company dinner at the Citadella). We catered the birthday dinner at the Festetics Palace for the managing director of E-On; we also planned and carried out the company’s 400-person Christmas party at the Natural Sciences Museum.
We arranged a gala evening at the Opera House for the Kinstellar legal firm and 450 guests; we catered a 300-person dinner banquet for Raiffeisen Bank at the Show Room; and for the opening event of the Allianz Olympics, we arranged a reception for 1200 people at the Margaret Island Open-air Stage.

Lapp Austria
“An international manufacturing company invited its colleagues from all over the world to Hungary so that they could celebrate the company’s successes by spending a pleasant day and relaxed evening together. In May 2012, we served 950 guests at an event held at the Hungarian Railway History Park. The numerous programs and activities that kept the guest partying until dawn were accompanied by a fine buffet dinner and excellent Hungarian wines. The guests, the client, and the event organisers were satisfied with the high standard of the evening, and though the guests will be meeting elsewhere next year, they will remember the Hungarian event fondly. “

Group Auto Union International
“The International Auto Club – Group Auto Union International’s end-of-conference gala dinner took place in May 2010 at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest. Both the client and the organisers were extremely satisfied with the high standard of the evening, the excellent menu, and the highest-quality Hungarian wines. A unique atmosphere was created by the classic décor of the museum’s Renaissance Hall and the yellow colour-scheme characteristic of the Auto Club, so that both the location and the dinner were a hit among the 250 guests.”

Riverside Group
“The Riverside conference was attended by numerous European and overseas guests. Our goal for the two days we had available to us was to show as much as we could of Budapest and the culture and gastronomy of Hungary. Throughout the event, Gerbeaud was not just a catering service that gained the recognition of all our foreign guests. The Gerbeaud team was a true partner in working out every minute detail of the event. They helped to make the 2010 conference a truly unforgettable experience for our colleagues.”

Nissan Sales CEE Ltd.
“Nissan Sales CEE Ltd. held its end-of-year event at Gerbeaud House in December 2011. The 180 guests, arriving from Central and Eastern Europe, took over the Gerbeaud building early in the afternoon with a close-of-year presentation. After that, the fun and games began. Small groups of guests participated in team-building activities, taking advantage of Gerbeaud House’s facilities (draught beer pulling in the Gerbeaud Pub, a casino in the 1st floor Banquet Room, a singing competition in the Atrium); this was followed by a pleasant informal buffet dinner in the Gerbeaud Pub. The evening was a roaring success.”
